30 seconds rule on eBay – consise description becomes important

Do you know that on an average eBay shopper do not spend more than 30 seconds shopping on a single page item listing?

Yet many eBay sellers or merchant squeeze so much information that they neglect the first thing first rule.
As eBay is focusing seller performance, it is important to reduce item not as describe and item not receive dispute.

Therefore as a seller, he should:
- place important info at the first fold view of the listing
- item description, shipping info and disclaimer should always be at first fold
- hyperlink to the important sections should be advisable on the header of the description
- photos should be in thumbsize and allow to be enlarged in one area only
- use Merchant templates available for users leveraging their listing tool
