Create border that will make your listing standing out

I was searching for some Kindle 2 products on eBay when a listing with purple border photo capture my attention. The reason is not that the photo was exceptionally well taken but because it is the only listing with thick photo border and it’s glaring purple.

Now, kudos to the effort done for the merchant to be different from the rest but I think he or she can do a better job like putting a thick boder with words that further capture the attention of the audience. Example: “Trusted PowerSeller”, “Free Gift”, “Free 2 Yr Warrenty”. etc. The list is endless. The point is still the same strategy as the merchant adopted – being different from the rest of the merchants in the mist of hundreds of search result appearing in front of his or her potential buyers.

There will be some of you thinking things like “it is easier to say about implementing such tactics than actually doing it”….

Well, let me share with my reader that whatever tactics or strategies suggested in this blog, I will always test it myself. Likewise for this case…

There is a bulk editing photo software out in the market that can do the above and it is FREE!!! Yes, you got that right. It is FREE. The name of the software is called Irfanview.

There is a function called Batch Conversion\Rename (Shortcut key: B). I will not dwell into the step by step unless my reader comment violently the need of it
