As you know eBay search engine is looking at sales per impression. What everyone wants is to have the sales per impression as high as possible.

For all who are new to eBay Best Match 2.0, impression is simply the number of times the listing is actually being shown to visitor when they search an item. If the item is in page 4 of search result and that visitor did not click on page 4 of search result, it will not generate an impression for that item.

So how do you make sure if your item do appear in the search result in front of visitor, they will click and buy.

First thing first, make sure people do click into your listing first then worry about whether people buy! There are not many ways you can play around in the result page ever since eBay remove most of the feature like highlight and feature plus, etc….

So here are the 5 Quick ways to optimize your search result on eBay Best Match result page.

1) Have relevant title that people will click to find out more. Never spam the title. 2) Pay a bit more by having subtitle feature which allows you to put more relevant or compelling information for visitor to click. Learn to be different from your competitor 3) Be a Top Rate Seller which give you a TRS logo badge together with your listing in the search result. 4) Offer free Shipping which will provide an italic font word call “Free Shipping” which can look very different from the rest of listing with no free shipping 5) Have a nice photo which will make your listing outstanding

Good luck!
